PUDDINGTON and BLACK DOG W.I.

SKITTLES TEAM NEWS
The latest report from Joan Lakeland, the team's Vice Captain:

"Well, be played our final game against Down St. Mary last Wednesday, 21st April at the Black Dog. I will admit that we have played better, but none the less, we still managed to win by 22 points. I'm ashamed to say that I myself only scored 3 point in one of the games, shame on me! But a good time was had by all once again, and we enjoyed a final get together with something to eat and drink afterwards in the bar, or at least, in the restaurant because the bar was full to bursting with the Pennymoor Singers and their followers, it made for a lovely background entertainment though, and then Chrissie and I joined them ourselves after we had finished eating and the rest of the team had gone home. We will now have to wait until May 7th at our annual dinner, to find out how we have done overall. We will miss our weekly games, and look forward to when the new season begins once again in the autumn."
