News PUDDINGTON and BLACK DOG W.I. SKITTLES VICTORY It has been reported that the oft'time losers triumphed this week. The Puddington and Black Dog W.I. skittles team played the Kyrtonians at The Mare and Foal, Yeoford on Wednesday, and won every game except the last which they drew. They won by 30 points, which was a great surprise to them, and an even bigger one to the Kyrtonians as they are a good team. At one stage the amazed Kyrtonian's captain asked if the Puddington & Black Dog 'picker-uppers' were standing the skittles on the right spots as they couldn't understand why they were missing so many times! We hope the Puddington & Black Dog W.I. team are in as good form when they play Morchard Bishop W.I. team next week at Black Dog. We wait with baited breath!
